Orange Banana Smoothie

   Smoothies are usually drunk alongside a meal to enhance the nutritional benefit or served as a morning meal, depending on the vegetables or fruits it contains. In this recipe, we will make an orange and banana smoothie. Orange is a citrus fruit that contains a high nutritional value, as it contains vitamins, especially vitamin C, in addition to minerals, and it helps absorb calcium and other minerals. As for bananas, it is one of the tropical fruits that people eat all over the world, it is rich in vitamins, fiber, and mineral salts. Banana has many benefits, it relieves depression, relieves menstrual pain, and activates the mind in addition to the benefits. This recipe introduces you to the method of preparing an orange smoothie with banana in addition to some other materials with milk and ice cubes.

Ingredients

    • Two cups of yoghurt. 
    • Two medium-sized bananas. 
    • 6 medium-sized oranges 
    • 4 tablespoons of honey. 
    • A small lemon. 
    • 4 slices of orange for garnish

    • Peel the banana and cut it into small pieces. 
    • Wash the orange and divide it from the middle, then squeeze it to get a cup and a half of fresh orange juice. 
    • Wash the lemon and squeeze it to get two tablespoons of lemon juice. 
    • We put the banana pieces in the electric mixer, add honey and yogurt, pour lemon juice and fresh orange juice, and mix the ingredients well until we get a smoothie mixture. 
    • Pour the smoothie into serving glasses, decorate the glasses with orange slices, and serve cold.
