How To Save Yourself In The Kitchen

Many of us are always exposed to mistakes in the kitchen, and we do not know how to overcome these mistakes. Here are these tips to overcome mistakes in your kitchen, and to ensure safety as well.

How To Save Yourself In The Kitchen

  1. Make sure that the temperature in the refrigerator is 40 F degrees or less, and bring a suitable thermometer to the refrigerator and leave it in a place visible to the eye to check it constantly.
  2. Damaged parts in the refrigerator may cause temperature imbalance, so check the device visually and make sure everything is safe.
  3. Put shrimp, lobsters, oysters, and the like in the refrigerator on pieces of ice, ideally, put the seafood on top of the ice, and put the ice in a strainer or in another container.
  4. When you want to put a hot dish in the refrigerator, put it first in a slightly cool place with the lid partially open to cool before placing it in the refrigerator. Because if you put the dish hot in the refrigerator, it will make the refrigerator warm, which may cause the rest of the frozen foods to spoil.
  5. Once you have lifted a stuffed bird after serving it, such as a turkey, remove the remaining stuffing from the bird outside so it cools faster.
  6. If something spills on the floor, wipe it down, and leave a mop available for use for this purpose.
  7. When you work in the kitchen you are usually fast moving, so don't leave boxes, small chairs, grocery bags, or anything else on the floor, to prevent you from tripping easily.
  8. Polished tiles are great looking but dangerous, they don't guarantee that anything breakable will break just by falling, but oil or foamy water spills on them makes them smooth as snow, so avoid them in your kitchen flooring choices.
  9. Watch all electrical wires and watch for any broken, crack or worn piece, until the wire passes over the edges or something presses on it, so make sure to repair every damage you find.
  10. Do not increase the load on electrical circuits by using multiple sockets or wire connections or anything like that, if the wiring network is old, be sure to check it periodically with a specialist to know its carrying capacity.
